How to start
- Scan the code on the notice at the mosque entrance or in the women's prayer area. If your camera will not read it, type the short address printed underneath.
- Choose your language. That is the only tap.
- Keep the page open. It starts by itself when the khutbah starts.
Languages
and "another language", counted the moment you tap it. Those counts are the only thing that decides the next language.
What you read, and what you do not
- Every line says where it came from: Qur'an, the Arabic from a verified source with its reference; Reviewed, checked by a human; Live, machine translation of what is being said now; [unclear] where the audio did not carry it. Never a guess.
- Qur'an verses are never machine-translated, and no translation of a verse is shown at all until the ministry approves a translation list. You see the ayah in Arabic with its reference, and in place of a translation one line: "translation pending Ministry approval". Munib will not show a translation of the Qur'an the ministry has not approved.
- No explanation, no ruling, no tafsir, no hadith grading. Munib translates the pulpit and adds nothing. Religious questions go to the Iftaa Office: iftaa.mara.gov.om.
- No archive. The session ends with the khutbah. There is no saved text and no copy to send.

What Munib stores about you
No account, no name, no phone number. Munib does not store your location — it is used to order "nearest mosques" and kept nowhere. Your language is kept on your own phone, and Settings has a button that deletes everything stored on this device. No advertising, no tracking, no third-party analytics. The one thing collected is anonymous crash and performance diagnostics, with no identifier attached and never for advertising. The whole of it is in the privacy notice.
If it is not at your mosque yet
Open your mosque's page and add your language. When five or more people ask for the same language at one mosque, the count appears on that page — and that count is what we take to the mosque and to the ministry. No promises, no dates. Only published counts.
