Ljubljana stock exchange indices edge up, NLB tops turnover list - SeeNews
LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), August 13 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) edged up on Friday, with lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
NLB also topped the turnover list on Friday, generating a turnover of 472,214 euro. Its shares closed up 2.43% at 67.40 euro.
Chemical producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its shares went down 1.22% to 243 euro.
The blue-chip SBITOP index and the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, increased 0.07% on Friday, closing at 1,189.47 and 1,380.22 points, respectively.
LJSE's total turnover more than doubled to 1.26 million euro ($1.5 million) on Friday, compared with 561,025 euro generated on Thursday.
