LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), August 9 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) rose on Monday, with pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Krka's shares closed 1.83% higher at 111 euro on Monday. The company also generated the highest trading turnover, as 9,621 of its shares changed hands in 39 transactions worth a total of 1.1 million euro ($1.3 million).
Reinsurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] was the sole decliner among the blue-chip companies, as its shares fell 0.71% to 27.80 euro.
LJSE's total turnover more than doubled to 1.4 million euro on Monday, compared with 646,892 euro generated on Friday.
The blue-chip SBITOP index rose 0.88%, ending at 1,186.51 points on Monday. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, increased 0.85%, closing at 1,376.89 points.
