Former competition watchdog chief Graeme Samuel has abruptly quit the board of the National Stock Exchange just four months after he was appointed as chairman designate, citing frustration with a mooted governance overhaul.
In a brief statement to the market on Friday, NSX Limited said it had “been advised that Graeme Samuel has resigned as a director from the boards of NSXL and the National Stock Exchange of Australia effective today”.
